Château de Châtenay-en-France stands in Châtenay-en-France (Val-d'Oise), in the Île-de-France region of France. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
North of Paris, roughly twenty kilometres away, sits the château de Châtenay-en-France, where the real draw is a 19-hectare park that has remained untouched since the nineteenth century, overshadowing the house itself. That neoclassical dwelling dates to 1880 and came from the hand of architect Dainville. Behind the grounds lie two celebrated names in landscape design: Louis-Sulpice Varé, also responsible for shaping the Bois de Boulogne, began the layout in 1835, and the work was finished in 1884 by the Bühler brothers, who designed Lyon's Parc de la Tête d'Or. Marked slopes and vistas stretching toward the forests of Chantilly and Halatte define the park's character.
