Perched above the Cher valley, this castle combines remnants of a 13th century stronghold with a Renaissance rebuilding carried out for the L'Aubespine family in the late 16th century. The entrance features a round arched gateway flanked by two defensive towers, decorated with pilasters and a frieze of triglyphs. The site's history spans seven centuries of owners, from the Culan family to the Dukes of Maillé, through to a private restoration underway since 2015 following a period of decay.
