Château de Charnay stands in Perrigny-sur-Loire (Saône-et-Loire), in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of France. No visits are on record for this building.
The Château de Charnay stands on a slight rise overlooking the Loire, in the commune of Perrigny-sur-Loire. Its round 15th-century tower, adjoined by a stair turret, marks the north-east corner of a group of buildings arranged around a square courtyard. The main residence, built in the same period, was altered in the 17th century and had its exterior substantially reworked in the 19th century. Inside, a monumental fireplace and the restored frescoes of the former chapel remain.
