Château de Boisse stands in Saint-Jouvent (Haute-Vienne), in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: second half of the 19th century, 20th century). The building is privately owned and no visits are on record.
In Saint-Jouvent, in the Haute-Vienne department, the château de Boisse stands on a rocky outcrop overlooking a pond and meadows. Built at the turn of the 20th century for a public-works contractor, it was designed by architect Stephen Sauvestre, who also worked on the Eiffel Tower project. The estate remains privately owned, but its park, laid out by landscape designer Édouard André with terraced kitchen gardens, an island and stone bridges, is of particular interest to visitors drawn to period gardens.
