Château de Nieul stands in Nieul (Haute-Vienne), in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

The château de Nieul stands beside a pond, built on the foundations of a medieval stronghold recorded as early as the 11th century. The present building, shaped by alterations carried out in the 15th and 19th centuries, still holds three notable fireplaces and sixteen old stained-glass windows of Flemish, German and Swiss origin. Having become municipal property in 1936, it now houses a library on the ground floor and a hall of honour on the upper floors.

The interior, with its fireplaces and stained-glass windows, can only be seen during guided tours run by a local association or during Heritage Days.
The ground floor serves as a community library, which limits free access to the building.
The landscaped park surrounding the château, with its pond and wayside oratory, appears to be approachable without particular restriction.

Of the original medieval keep, only a few remains survive, the rest of the building dating from later alterations.
