What the French Ministry of Culture records

Elie Louis Dufaure de Lajarte, conseiller au Parlement de Bordeaux, fit édifier la demeure de 1791 à 1793. Vendu comme bien national à sa mort. Vers la fin du 19e siècle, les dépendances furent en partie agrandies et modifiées. Vers 1900, un négociant bordelais transforma le parc. Le corps de logis est prolongé vers le nord-est par des dépendances disposées autour d'une cour. Décors de guirlandes et feuillages sur la façade. A l'intérieur, dessus de portes décorés, décors moulurés, lambris...
