What the French Ministry of Culture records

Château construit par Jacques Gabriel dans les années 1598-1601 pour Maurice Droullin. Le plan du château primitif affectait un U entouré de douves en eau avec pont dormant. Vendu comme bien national à la Révolution, le corps principal du château est détruit.
