What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le fief relevait de la châtellenie de Belleme. Il est attesté depuis 1250. L'édifice actuel est une construction du 16e siècle, avec un corps de logis entouré de communs autour d'une cour rectangulaire. La tour d'escalier est complètement incluse dans le bâtiment. A l'intérieur, cheminées d'époques. La chambre Est, à l'étage, a conservé une grande partie de son décor : dallage ancien, cheminée Renaissance avec décor peint. La poutre de la cheminée est également peinte et les corbeaux portent des chiffres rouges. L'ensemble des poutres et solives est orné de motifs décoratifs ou de lettres entrelacées, rouges ou noirs. Les communs sont typiques des bâtiments ruraux du Perche.
