Le manoir actuel a remplacé des constructions antérieures. Dès le début du 12e siècle, le premier seigneur de Saint-Quentin avait planté à cet emplacement un château qui pouvait être une simple tour de bois. Au cours du 16e siècle, édification du château actuel. Le bâtiment se termine à l'ouest par une tourelle, et à l'est par une tour carrée. Les traces d'une ancienne tourelle qui devait être accolée à la muraille et devait reposer sur un cul de lampe.
