What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le domaine du Champ-Versan était dans la mouvance du Camp-Bénard, dont les possesseurs portaient le titre de seigneurs de Cambénard et de Champ-versan. Le plus ancien détenteur est Regnault de Hesbert, écuyer. Lui succède bien postérieurement, cité dans un acte de 1733, Jacques-Pierre Bazin, conseiller du Roi, toujours qualifié de seigneurs de Cambénard et de Champ-versan. Les lieux sont possessionnés par la même famille Bazin tout au long du 18e siècle. En 1786 est inhumé Jean-Baptiste, Louis Bazin de Sainte-Honorine, ancien garde des sceaux près le parlement de Rouen. Au siècle suivant, la famille d'Harambure succède aux Bazin.
