The manor of Puy Blain stands in Terves, a village attached to Bressuire, at the end of a lane leading to a walled courtyard. Two building periods are visible here: a medieval dwelling from the 15th century, which still has a room with its original rustic fireplaces, and a later wing dated 1589 flanked by a round tower. The whole retains the character of a small estate that was both a lord's residence and a working farm, with a bastion and a round-arched entrance decorated with pilasters.
