Ancien domaine seigneurial sur plate-forme entourée de fossés en eau, remontant au 17e siècle. Le domaine s'accompagne de communs. Il est occupé, pendant la guerre de Vendée, par le général Kléber qui l'incendie avant de se replier. Entre 1796 et 1809, l'architecte François Léonard Seheult le reconstruit. Les décors intérieurs datent également de cette époque.
