What the French Ministry of Culture records
De la première demeure ne subsiste rien. Cet édifice fut remplacé, vers la fin du 15e siècle par une autre construction, dont il reste le pavillon des archives aménagé en bibliothèque. Le château actuel a été construit en 1695. C'est une demeure classique, constituée par un grand bâtiment rectangulaire. Au milieu de la façade nord s'élève une tourelle à pans. Lucarnes à frontons sculptés. L'actuelle salle-à-manger et le bureau sont recouverts de boiseries décorées vers 1750. En équerre sur le bâtiment principal, une aile a été ajoutée vers 1910 dans le style de l'ensemble. Les tours d'enceinte du jardin remontent sans doute à la fin du 16e siècle. Le parc est un élément constitutif du manoir. Intérêt ethnologique de ses promenades aménagées au 18e siècle.
