To make a day of it
Manoir de Kervaudu stands in Le Croisic (Loire-Atlantique), in the Pays de la Loire region of France. The building is listed as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 15th century). Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
Standing apart from the town of Le Croisic, this rural manor dating from the late 15th century was the first Breton manor to be listed as a historic monument, in 1921. Its modest architecture belies a dense history: home to one of Le Croisic's earliest Protestant families, later linked to the poet René Gentilhomme, it became in the early 20th century the studio of the painter Ferdinand du Puigaudeau, who depicted it repeatedly. His daughter, the ethnologist Odette du Puigaudeau, spent her childhood there.
