Château de Lauvergnac stands in La Turballe (Loire-Atlantique), in the Pays de la Loire region of France. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
In La Turballe, the château de Lauvergnac preserves the memory of a Breton lordship recorded as early as 1395, reshaped in the 19th century in troubadour style by the Comte de Geloës d'Elsloo. Visitors can see a crenellated tower that was moved and raised, a glazed gallery overlooking the park and a neo-gothic chapel dedicated to Saint Barbara. A Renaissance pavilion from the 16th century still stands among these later additions, along with lead gargoyles shaped as a monkey, a crocodile and a salamander.
