In Bulligny, in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department, the château de Tuméjus stands on the site of a fortified house built in the early 15th century by Ferry I de Ligniville. Originally arranged around a square keep flanked by four round towers and surrounded by a moat, the building was reshaped through several phases of work from the 17th to the 19th century, giving it its present appearance. The estate still holds older outbuildings, including a dovecote and a mill, along with a park laid out in the 19th century.
