Schloss Zwiefaltendorf stands in Riedlingen, in the Landkreis Biberach, in Baden-Württemberg, where the Zwiefalter Aach joins the Danube. Its origins go back to an 11th century moated castle, burned down in 1517 on the orders of Duke Ulrich of Württemberg, with the present building first recorded around 1660. The two storey structure, with its corner turrets topped by pointed roofs, passed through the Speth family and later the barons von und zu Bodman before being acquired in 1999 by the Junger and Seiz families. Today the site is used for conferences, presentations and private events rather than for general sightseeing.
