Schloss Uettingen stands at Uettingen, in the Landkreis Würzburg, in Bavaria, on land held by the Wolfskeel family since the early 17th century. Built between 1818 and 1838 to designs by Bernhard Morell, it was raised in a late classicist style with Italian influences, its four facades deliberately matching one another. Behind the building lies an English landscape park of roughly 11,000 square metres, setting the sharp lines of the structure against softer surroundings. The house remains in the hands of the Wolffskeel von Reichenberg family and continues to be inhabited.
