Schloss Sonsfeld refers to a nineteenth century manor house near Rees, in the Kreis Kleve, built on the site of an earlier noble seat first recorded in 1259 and demolished in the eighteenth century. Known locally as the Blaues Haus, the present building grew out of a forester's lodge erected in 1815 and later remodelled in a classical style around 1910. It remains privately owned and is not open to visitors. Nearby woodland still holds traces of a large baroque garden, including avenues and the remains of two water basins.
