To make a day of it
Schloss Scheer stands in Scheer (Landkreis Sigmaringen), in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. No visits are on record for this building.
Schloss Scheer crowns a narrow limestone spur looped by the Danube, in the Landkreis Sigmaringen, Baden-Württemberg. It was built at the end of the 15th century for Count Andreas von Sonnenberg, replacing an earlier medieval stronghold on the same site. The complex is made up of three multi-storey buildings with stepped gables, linked by a lower wing that houses the chapel, with the great hall located in the larger northern block. A round tower from around 1730 still guards the southern flank above a landscaped English-style park.
