Schloss Reckenberg stands in Lichtenfels (Landkreis Waldeck-Frankenberg), in Hesse, Germany. No visits are on record for this building.
Schloss Reckenberg stands in the narrow Orke valley known as the Örksche Schweiz, in Lichtenfels, northern Hesse. Built over the remains of a moated castle first recorded in 1350, it took its present form in 1671 when General Philipp Elmerhaus von Eppe had the old fortress torn down, keeping only two round towers and the vaulted cellars. Still a private working estate today, the manor house can only be seen from outside, in particular from the hiking trail running through the valley.
