Located in Markt Wald, Bavaria, this Schloss has belonged to the Fugger family since 1660. The present building, raised by Michael Stiller in 1747/48 on the foundations of an earlier structure from 1525, stands three storeys high under a hipped roof, flanked by two corner towers topped with cast iron antlers on their conical roofs. A staircase tower completes the structure, alongside an 18th century garden wall with gate piers and a garden pavilion. Count Leopold Fugger-Babenhausen has lived there since 2011 and has been overseeing its restoration.
