Where
Ettringen

Burgstall Siebnach stands in Ettringen (Landkreis Unterallgäu), in Bavaria, Germany. No visits are on record for this building.

The Burgstall Siebnach is the earthwork remnant of an early medieval stronghold, set on a ridge of the Buchberg above the hamlet of Siebnach, part of the municipality of Ettringen. No standing structure survives: visitors find ramparts, ditches and a double rampart system shielding an outer bailey west of an oval main enclosure. The site belongs to the group of tenth century refuge forts built against Hungarian raiders, modelled on the nearby Haldenburg. Two mounds at the corners of the northeastern rampart may mark former tower positions.
