The Schloss Ilsenbach stands northwest of Ilsenbach, a hamlet belonging to the municipality of Püchersreuth in Bavaria. This three-storey building with its hipped roof traces its origins back to the twelfth century, when an earlier stronghold here belonged to the lords of Ilsenbach. The structure seen today results from a rebuilding carried out in the seventeenth century following a fire, and owes its current state to a private restoration undertaken in the 1980s after the property had fallen into ruin.
