Schloss Hüffe is a moated manor house in the Lashorst district of Preußisch Oldendorf, whose origins trace back to a noble estate first recorded in the 15th century. The present building, in a late Baroque classicist style, was erected between 1774 and 1782 on a moated island, likely to designs by the architect Simon Louis du Ry. Behind its restrained facade, the interior holds rich stucco decoration, most notably the mirror hall in the central wing, while the surrounding park, laid out from 1775 by gardener Pierre Bourguignon, opens a long sightline toward the Wiehengebirge hills. The estate remains in private hands and has changed owners several times in recent years.
