Schloss Hohenkammer stands in Hohenkammer, Bavaria, on the site of a medieval stronghold first recorded in the eleventh century. The counts of Haslang built the present structure in the second half of the sixteenth century, rebuilding it in Renaissance style after a fire destroyed much of it in 1648. The four-winged complex, arranged around an arcaded courtyard, is marked by corner turrets and a square gate tower. Owned since 2003 by an insurance company, the building now houses a hotel and conference centre.
