Schloss Günderrode stands in Höchst an der Nidder (Wetteraukreis), in Hesse, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. No visits are on record for this building.
Schloss Günderrode stands in the old village centre of Höchst an der Nidder, between the Protestant church and the municipal hall, on the site of a medieval fortified residence torn down in the early 15th century. The present baroque building dates from 1718 and takes its name from the von Günderrode family, who acquired the estate in 1756. The poet Karoline von Günderrode was a descendant through her grandfather, and the house once welcomed guests such as Achim von Arnim and Clemens Brentano. The ensemble, a main house flanked by two lower wings, sits within a landscaped English-style park of roughly 6000 square metres.
