Schloss Grünsberg stands in Grünsberg (Landkreis Nürnberger Land), in Bavaria, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
Schloss Grünsberg stands on a spur above the Schwarzach river, on a fortified site first recorded before 1231. Originally a medieval stronghold held by the Rindsmaul and later the Schweppermann family, it passed through several Nuremberg patrician families before the Paumgartners reshaped it between 1717 and 1723 into a stately residence, while keeping the outline of the older castle. Inside, visitors can still see notable stucco ceilings, a baroque stair tower, and a collection of furniture and objects spanning several centuries of patrician life, including a model of Venice's Rialto Bridge dating from the 1580s.
