Schloss Grabow stands on an artificial mound surrounded by a broad water-filled moat, a remnant of a medieval moated castle first recorded in the tenth century. Sections of the medieval curtain wall, once around ten metres high, still survive along with the remains of a square keep, while the baroque manor house from the seventeenth century forms the southern side of the courtyard. The surrounding park, laid out around 1900, still holds bridges and memorial stones connected to the families who once owned the estate. The building is privately inhabited and not open to the public inside.
