Schloss Falkenberg stands on the edge of the village of Falkenberg, at the heart of a large estate that was once a noble manor. Its silhouette is recognisable from afar thanks to the massive stone tower, rising seven storeys and well above the roofline of the main building. The present structure took shape through several building phases between 1560 and 1778, which gave the complex its irregular layout and its two half-timbered upper floors set on a solid base. The adjoining park still holds baroque sculptures of the four seasons and a fountain figure of Neptune.
