Schloss Brüggen stands in Gronau (Leine) (Landkreis Hildesheim), in Lower Saxony, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
Schloss Brüggen stands in Gronau on a site occupied since Ottonian times, though the building seen today dates from the late 17th century. Friedrich II. von Steinberg had it built between 1686 and 1693 in baroque style, designed by Johann Balthasar Lauterbach and overseen by master builder Hermann Korb. The complex includes the main house, a gatehouse from 1714, a chapel from 1706 with the family vault, a park of over four hectares and former farm buildings. The facade still bears the heraldic symbols of the Steinberg and Grapendorf families, united through the builder's marriage.
