Biesdorf Palace stands in its own park in the Berlin district of Biesdorf, part of Marzahn-Hellersdorf. Built in 1868 as an Italianate villa for the von Rüxleben family, it later passed to the Siemens family before being acquired by the city of Berlin. Gutted by fire in 1945, the building underwent a long restoration completed in 2016 and now houses the district's municipal gallery. Visitors can see the coloured cement-render facade and the octagonal corner tower topped with a copper-roofed belvedere.
