Rittergut Oberfarnstädt stands in Farnstädt (Saalekreis), in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. No visits are on record for this building.
The Rittergut Oberfarnstädt is a former moated castle turned manor estate in Farnstädt, Saxony-Anhalt. Its medieval origins were overlaid by a baroque rebuilding commissioned in the early 17th century by the von Geusau family, whose coat of arms still marks the square tower at the centre of the east wing. The present building forms a four-winged complex around a courtyard, with remnants of the moat surviving on the west and north sides, and a notable half-timbered house still stands on the former outer courtyard. The estate is now privately owned.
