The Rittergut Eimbeckhausen stands on the site of a former medieval moated castle, in the centre of the Eimbeckhausen district of Bad Münder am Deister. The manor house itself, rebuilt in 1874 on the foundations of an early 17th century Herrenhaus, was torn down in 1973 due to its poor structural condition. What remains today are the western side of the moat, outbuildings, and the courtyard wall, the last traces of an estate that passed through several noble families over the centuries.
