Neues Schloss Ingolstadt stands in Ingolstadt (Ingolstadt), in Bavaria, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
The Neues Schloss stands at the edge of Ingolstadt's old town, set behind a deep moat that recalls its original defensive purpose. Built from the 1470s onward by the dukes of Bavaria-Landshut on the foundations of an earlier residence, it ranks among the major civil buildings of 15th-century Bavaria. Inside are vaulted halls, including one where the ribs fan out in a star pattern from a central column, along with a chapel that still holds old paintings. The building today houses the Bavarian Army Museum.
