The Mörderberg is a former motte castle dating from the 13th and 14th centuries, situated on a plateau near Weitin, a district of Neubrandenburg in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Only buried remains survive, uncovered through archaeological excavations carried out between 1976 and 1978, which revealed a ditch, a palisade and various medieval everyday objects. A document from 1348 names the site Castrum Walwensmoelen, likely linked to the defence of a nearby mill and trade route. No building remains visible today, only the shape of the land and its history.
