The Junkernschloss, also known as the Untere Burg, is the ruin of a former moated castle in Driedorf, in the Lahn-Dill-Kreis. Built between 1280 and 1290 by Otto I of Nassau on the remains of an earlier noble seat, it served as a comital residence in the early 14th century before passing through several noble families of the region. Visitors can still see the foundations of the keep known as the Hohe Warte, the entrance gate, the courtyard and some pointed-arch window openings. Restored from 1990 onward and set within a redesigned park completed in 2004, the grounds are now used for events.
