The Herrensitz in Schnaittach, also known as the Velhornschloss, is a former manor house built in the early 18th century by Johann Leonhard Velhorn, administrator of the Bavarian electoral bailiwick of Schnaittach. The building, a two-storey sandstone structure with a hipped roof, passed through several owners before being taken over by the Caritas organization in 1925. Today it forms part of a Caritas youth welfare centre, whose buildings now occupy the former castle garden. Its facade still bears a portal niche with a carved wooden Pietà group dating from the mid-18th century.
