Haus Blumenthal stands in Brachelen (Kreis Heinsberg), in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. No visits are on record for this building.
Haus Blumenthal stands at the entrance to Brachelen, a district of Hückelhoven, as the remnant of a former moated castle of which only one wing has survived. What remains today combines two distinct periods: a residential building from the mid 16th century and an adjoining hall wing built in 1658, identified by its richly decorated basket arched portal. First recorded in 1452, the estate passed through several owners before taking the name of the von Blumenthal family, who acquired it in 1542.
