To make a day of it
Gutsanlage Liebenberg stands in Löwenberger Land (Landkreis Oberhavel), in Brandenburg, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
The Gutsanlage Liebenberg, in Löwenberger Land within the Landkreis Oberhavel, combines a former manorial estate with its Herrenhaus, reshaped over the centuries into what is now referred to as a Schloss. The present building grew out of a manor house built by 1743 at the latest and enlarged in a historicist style between 1875 and 1906. The landscape park, laid out in the 19th century following ideas associated with Peter Joseph Lenné, still retains traces of an earlier baroque garden. The estate is closely tied to the diplomat Philipp zu Eulenburg, a confidant of Emperor Wilhelm II, and to the site's turbulent history during the East German era.
