The Ehemaliges Schloss stands in the hamlet of Filchendorf, part of the town of Neustadt am Kulm in Bavaria. Originating from a manor farm first recorded in 1281, the present building dates largely from 1626, a year carved on a coat-of-arms plaque above its round-arched doorway. After the surrounding land was sold off in the nineteenth century, the structure lost its third storey and was converted into a farmhouse, though chamfered window frames still remain on the gable ends. Today it is a plain, ochre-coloured gabled building best seen from the outside.
