Burgstall Neuittelsburg marks the remains of a former hilltop castle on the Reichenfels, near the hamlet of Niedergsäng by Bad Grönenbach. Built around 1102 by a lord of the Grönenbach-Wolfertschwenden and Ochsenhausen family, it later passed to the lords of Ittelsburg and then to several other owners before falling into ruin around 1500. What remains today is a rocky outcrop of conglomerate stone, surrounded by a circular ditch cut into the rock and faint traces of ramparts.
