Burgruine Kräheneck stands in Dillweißenstein (Pforzheim), in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
The Burgruine Kräheneck crowns a rocky spur encircled by the Nagold river, above the Burgruine Weißenstein in the Dillweißenstein district of Pforzheim. Built in the 11th century by the lords of Weißenstein, it is marked by a massive red sandstone shield wall nearly ten metres high, fronted by a ditch. Within the angled section of the wall, a chamber with an arrow slit and a spiral staircase still survives. The absence of any service buildings suggests the structure was conceived as an unfinished outwork defending Weißenstein.
