The Burg Seebach, also known as Wasserschloss Seebach, is a former moated castle in the Seebach district of Weinbergen, in Thuringia. Built in the early 13th century on behalf of the archbishops of Mainz, it changed hands several times before coming under the von Berlepsch family, who rebuilt it after it was sacked during the Peasants' War. The structure seen today, a multi-storey stone building topped with a timber-framed section, took shape through renovations in the 19th century and again between 1911 and 1914. The grounds also host Germany's oldest bird protection station, established in the 1880s.
