Burg Plohn is the ruin of a hilltop castle standing at 395 metres above sea level, in the centre of the village of Plohn, part of the small town of Lengenfeld in the Vogtlandkreis. First recorded in 1279 as a noble residence, it was destroyed and rebuilt more than once before being torn down in 1804 to make way for a manor estate. Today only restored walls and a vaulted cellar remain, set among former estate buildings now used for other purposes. The site lies close to the Plohn leisure park.
