Burg Ließem is a former moated castle (Wasserburg) on the banks of the Ehlenzbach stream, around which the village of the same name developed. Its oldest core, a Gothic residential tower dating from the 14th century, can still be traced in the southwestern corner of the present manor house, largely built in the 16th century. The property remains privately owned and is used for farming today, so it is not set up for visitors and is best appreciated from the outside.
