Ebersburg Castle is a ruined hilltop fortress overlooking the village of Ebersberg, part of the municipality of Ebersburg in the Landkreis Fulda, Hesse. Built from around 1100 by the lords of Ebersberg, it once covered the entire plateau of the Ebersberg hill, with an outer bailey set on a lower terrace to the east. Visitors can still make out several towers, one of which was converted into a lookout point, along with remains of the encircling ditch that reinforced its more vulnerable eastern side.
