Propriété de la famille de Sèze depuis 1625, le domaine reste plusieurs générations dans la même famille avant de passer au député Adolphe Charoulet. La petite chartreuse du 18e siècle avec ses ailes de dépendances en retour d'équerres a été réaménagée à la fin du 19e siècle et au début du 20e siècle. Le corps de logis est rehaussé et agrémenté d'un pavillon central avec un toit à quatre pentes. Ces transformations doivent être lues comme des manifestations du développement de l'activité vinicole, sensibles dans tout le Saint-Emilionnais. L'ensemble est en cours de restauration.
