What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le château du Terral a été construit de 1889 à 1909, en arrière d'une ancienne métairie du 18e siècle, par les architectes Louis et Alexandre Garros. L'architecture s'inspire du 17e siècle pour les extérieurs, du 18e pour les intérieurs. L'édifice se compose d'un corps central et de deux pavillons. Les façades s'ornent de chaînages à refends, de larmiers sur consoles, et de balcons à balustres de pierre. A l'intérieur, les distributions d'origine ont été maintenues. Au sud, une terrasse et des escaliers descendant vers un plan d'eau précèdent le château. Achevée en 1909, la chapelle présente un plan rectangulaire avec une nef couverte d'une coupole ajourée. Les anciennes écuries, le pavillon de la conciergerie, la clôture et la grille d'entrée complètent l'ensemble.
