Built for the de la Porte family in the eighteenth century, it later passed to the Verdier de la Miltière and then the Bucher de Chauvigné families before becoming the village town hall in 1953. An eighteenth-century coach house and a nineteenth-century cowshed still remain on the grounds, recalling its earlier life as a working estate.
